With election season in full swing and the date to cast your ballot close at hand, there’s never been a better time to get informed about candidates and issues. The public is invited to a Candidates’ Forum hosted by ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼’s Center for Servant Leadership, the ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ MOVE Texas Student Club, and the Community Forum, on Wednesday, October 2.
The non-partisan event will include a slate of city, county, and state candidates. Candidates will introduce themselves and briefly share their platforms. Eddie Davila, Jr. will moderate the forum, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and register to vote if they’re not already registered.
The event, which is free and open to all, begins at 6:30 p.m. in ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼’s Wupperman Little Theatre, and light refreshments will be served.
