Four decorated student-athletes comprise the 2024 Texas Lutheran Athletics Hall of Fame class that will be inducted this October representing four different sports, along with two new additions to the Leadership Wall of Honor. The ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Athletics Hall of Fame is an elite group of alumni and coaches who demonstrated outstanding performance and achievement in athletic competition while representing ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼.
The four members of the 2024 Hall of Fame class hail from women's track and field, football, volleyball and women's golf. For the third straight year, Texas Lutheran Women's Track and Field will have an inductee.
The newest members of the Texas Lutheran Athletics Hall of Fame are former ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ sprinter Monique Anderson '14, former ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ women's golfer Angela Aufderhaar (Hisey) '10, former ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ quarterback Sean Salinas '08, and former ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ volleyball player and sprinter Vanecia Spencer '14. They will be joined in the class by former ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ sports information director Tim Clark '94 and Tom Sedlacek '74 - who will be enshrined in the ¼«ËÙÁùºÏ²ÊÀúÊ·¿ª½±¼Ç¼ Athletics Leadership Wall of Honor.
The Class of 2024 will be honored in a ceremony on campus Saturday, October 26, 2024, and will be honored at halftime of the Homecoming football game between the Bulldogs and McMurry University. Kickoff is set for 4 PM.
